Cargas Named One of Central PA’s Fastest-Growing Companies in 2023 

Lancaster, Pennsylvania – September 14, 2023 – Cargas is proud to announce that it placed 32nd on the Central Penn Business Journal’s annual list of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Central Pennsylvania.

“Our team continues to work smart and hard to solve customer problems every day,” said Nate Scott, President & CEO of Cargas. “It is fantastic to see our efforts being recognized and leading to continued growth over the past year.”

To be eligible for the Top 50 list, Cargas had to meet a minimum revenue requirement in each of the fiscal years ending in 2020, 2021, and 2022, and show revenue growth in 2022, as compared to 2020. Other for-profit and nonprofit entities headquartered in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry or York County were eligible for nomination.

The presenting sponsor of the program, Baker Tilly, calculated the nominations and ranked the companies according to revenue growth during the three-year period. Both dollar and percentage increases were taken into consideration. This ranking formula led to the list of 50 winners.

Cargas and the other 49 winners were honored at an awards celebration on Tuesday, September 12 at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel, where the rankings for this annual list were announced.
