Cargas Named One of the Best Places to Work in PA for the 18th Time

Lancaster, Pennsylvania – December 8, 2023 – Central Penn Business Journal and Lehigh Valley Business have named Cargas number 14 on their list of the Best Places to Work in PA.

Best Places to Work in PA identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places of employment in Pennsylvania. To be considered, companies must be a publicly- or privately- held business; be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity; have a facility in the state of Pennsylvania; have at least 15 full- or part-time employees working in Pennsylvania; and be in business a minimum of one year.  

Cargas met all award criteria and has placed 14th in the Medium Employer Category among 41 other businesses. This is the 18th time Cargas has been named a Best Place to Work in PA.

The awards take a two-pronged approach to determine rankings. The first portion, which is worth about 25% of the total evaluation, looks at each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. The second portion, which is worth 75% of the total, surveys employees to measure their personal experiences at a nominated company. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final ranking.  

A listing of winners is available on the Central Penn Business Journal website. The final rankings were announced at an awards ceremony on December 7th. The awards were held in partnership with Best Companies Group. 

Winner profiles were published in an insert for the Dec. 8 issue of Central Penn Business Journal, with additional profiles in the Dec. 18 issue of Lehigh Valley Business. The magazines are available online at CPBJ.com and LVB.com.
