Growing Leadership for Cargas Microsoft, Marketing Teams

Lancaster, Pennsylvania – July 26, 2021 – Cargas is excited to announce three new promotions for our Microsoft ERP and Marketing teams. We’d like to congratulate the following team members for their dedication to Cargas.

Marketing Changes

Brian Weit, formerly Marketing Manager, is promoted to Director of Marketing. Brian came to Cargas in 2014 with a background in B2B marketing and technology, graphic design, and project management. In this position, he oversees Cargas’ marketing initiatives, manages campaigns, and oversees the planning and execution of projects. He collaborates with the Sales and Executive teams to keep everyone in sync about marketing efforts, and he enjoys working with these talented, motivated teammates. Brian holds a B.S. in Graphic Design from Pennsylvania College of Technology and is certified in Google Analytics and AdWords.

“Brian has done a great job managing our marketing team, building our digital marketing systems and processes, and collaborating on marketing strategy with leaders across the company,” said Aaron Cargas, Vice President of Marketing and Energy at Cargas.

Katie Weeber, formerly Marketing Content Specialist, is promoted to Marketing Manager. Katie joined Cargas in 2017 as a Marketing Content Specialist, using her creative writing degree and experience in the publishing industry to craft unique content for our website and marketing campaigns. In her new role, she’ll manage all content production and assist with project management. Her goal is to ensure that content is helpful and informative while remaining fun, engaging, and true to the Cargas voice and brand.

Microsoft ERP Changes

Tim Ott, formerly ERP Project Manager, is promoted to ERP Manager Tim came to Cargas in 2020 with 15 years of experience managing projects and ERP implementations. His new role allows him to adjust the ERP team’s project management strategies based on the evolving needs of our customers. Above all else, Tim ensures that customers experience a seamless integration process. Tim holds a BS in Metallurgical Engineering and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

“Tim has been very effective in developing our project management approaches, leading internal initiatives, and defining processes,” said Jodie Macariola, Director of Professional Services.
