Cargas Hires and Promotes Staff to Support Growing Business

Lancaster, Pennsylvania – February 13, 2020 – Cargas is pleased to announce several new promotions and a new management hire to support recent growth during the past year. The following individuals have been named to key strategic roles throughout the company.

Cargas Energy Business Unit Changes

The Cargas Energy business unit is dedicated to the development, implementation, and support of Cargas Energy, software for fuel delivery and HVAC service companies.

Cory Grimm, formerly Director of Consulting, is promoted to Director of Professional Services. In addition to leading Cargas Energy’s consulting team, Cory will expand his management responsibilities to include the Cargas Energy technical services team. He will also lead a special projects team dedicated to delivering consulting and technical services to Cargas’ existing customer base. Before joining Cargas, Cory was an Operations Analyst for the federal government, a financial advisor, and served in the active-duty Air Force. Since joining the Cargas team in 2013, he has held roles as a trainer, consultant, and project manager. Cory earned a BS in Business Administration and an MS in Strategic Leadership in Business, both from Elizabethtown College.

“Cory has been instrumental in developing our consulting team to support our growing customer base. His experience across many roles, his leadership here at Cargas, and his diverse background will help us as we continue to grow and scale our Cargas Energy business,” said Dennis Disabatino, VP of the Cargas Energy business unit.

With Cory moving into this new role, two other promotions have been made to support the Cargas Energy consulting team.

Nick Breon, formerly a Team Leader, is promoted to Consulting Manager. In this role, Nick will lead the Cargas Energy consulting team, help implement consulting bast practices and process improvements, support individual consultant training and development, and manage project scheduling in conjunction with the sales team. Before joining Cargas in 2015, Nick spent 3 years as a public accountant. He holds a BS in Business Administration (Accounting & Finance) from Shippensburg University.

“Since Nick joined Cargas, he has been a top performer and instrumental in leading successful implementations for several of our enterprise-level customers. Nick’s breadth and depth of knowledge across Cargas Energy, as well as his confidence, aptitude, and professionalism will serve him well in this new role,” said Disabatino.

Jaiya Watson formerly a Team Leader, is promoted to Manager of the Cargas Energy project management team. In addition to managing implementation projects, Jaiya will be responsible for implementing project management best practices and process improvements, individual project manager development and training, revenue forecasting, and project assignments. Jaiya joined the Cargas team in 2017 as a Certified Project Management Professional with 15 years of project management experience. She holds a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, from Western Connecticut State University.

“Jaiya came to Cargas with years of experience as a project manager and leader. Over the past several years, she has been instrumental in elevating the project manager role while leading most of our Cargas Energy implementation projects—all during a period of rapid growth for our business unit,” said Disabatino.

The Cargas Energy support team continues to grow and evolve.  Due to continuous customer growth and the need for focused leadership, the Cargas Energy support team will now be structured around two focus areas: Customer Support and Technical Support.

Bob Graybill, formerly the Customer Support Manager will transition to Technical Support Manager. In this role, Bob will lead the team of Technical Support Consultants, who resolve any technical issues that arise with Cargas Energy software. Bob will also have a dedicated focus on supporting our enterprise-level customers. Before joining Cargas in 2004, Bob worked as a developer and technical engineer. During his time at Cargas, he has served as a Software Engineer for Cargas Energy and Team Leader for Customer Support. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Penn State University.

“Bob has been a super-dedicated leader and doer on our support team from the beginning of Cargas Energy. Over the past year, he has done a great job implementing new ZenDesk features, setting goals for the team, and kicking off our KCS (Knowledge-Centered Support) initiative. This new role will allow Bob to focus on supporting the technical needs of our customers,” said Disabatino.

With Bob moving into this new role, Pam Morrissey joins the Cargas team as a Customer Support Manager. In this role, Pam will lead the team of Customer Support Consultants dedicated to triaging support tickets and answering customer questions about using Cargas Energy. Pam most recently served as a Vendor Manager for Agero, where she was responsible for the overall performance of Agero’s internal and external call centers and ensuring that they met the company’s service level agreement metrics. Pam holds an MBA in Corporate Communications & Professional Leadership from Duquesne University as well as Masters Certificates in Green/Lean Six Sigma and Essentials of Project Management from Villanova University.

“Focusing this role will help us better serve our customers. Pam’s background makes her a great fit to lead this team and help us develop our customer service practices to better support our growing customer base,” said Disabatino.

TJ Hammond, formerly a Software Engineer, is promoted to Team Leader of the technical services team. In addition to working directly with customers, in this new role, TJ will also be responsible for estimates and assigning tasks, documentation, and leading team meetings. TJ joined the Cargas team in 2015 and has served as a Software Engineer for both our Business Solutions and Cargas Energy business units. He holds a BS from Averett University.

“In his time with Cargas, TJ has gained broad knowledge and improved his skillset in working with both our Business Solutions and Energy customers. TJ is a hard worker and over the past couple of years has been instrumental in go-lives for key enterprise-level projects,” said Disabatino.

Sage Intacct Business Unit Changes

The Sage Intacct business unit is dedicated to the resale, implementation, and support of Sage Intacct cloud accounting software.

Anthony Verrecchia, formerly a Project Manager, is promoted to Manager of the Sage Intacct project management team. In addition to managing implementation projects, Anthony will continue to evolve our project management processes and tools. He will also focus on working with customers after implementation to adapt their software as their needs change over time. Anthony joined Cargas in 2011 with more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry. He started his career as a software engineer focused on developing custom software for accounting and financial analysis. Anthony holds a degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania.

Anthony has been a member of the Sage Intacct business unit since its inception in 2017 and a long-time member of the business unit leadership team.  Throughout that time, he has excelled both in managing complex projects and in managing large quantities of projects at any one time,” said Tom Falloon, Director of Professional Services for the Sage Intacct business unit.

Doug Price, formerly a Systems Consultant, is promoted to Consulting Manager. In addition to working directly with customers, Doug will lead a dedicated team of implementation consultants. He will also focus on improving the onboarding experience for new team members and supporting the development of the individual consultants across the team. Doug joined Cargas in 2016 with experience in accounting, operations, marketing, sales, payroll, human resources, compliance, training, facilities, and IT. His previous roles include CFO and VP of Finance and Administration. He holds a degree in Health Policy and Administration from Penn State University

“Doug has been a member of the Sage Intacct business unit since its inception in 2017 and has been a pod leader for the last year. He has deep knowledge of the software, most recently leading our services related to the use of contracts functionality to meet new ASC 606 accounting standards,” said Falloon.

Jeff Hartman, formerly a Systems Consultant, is promoted to Consulting Manager. In addition to working directly with customers, Jeff will lead a dedicated team of implementation consultants. He will also focus on developing implementation best practices across the consulting team and work toward making implementation projects a consistent experience for customers. Jeff has a vast financial background, most recently serving 16 years as the CFO and COO of Clipper Magazine in Lancaster. He also served as the controller for RNCi, Reich & Tang Asset Management, and Chase Manhattan Bank’s Vista Mutual Fund Company. Jeff holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Finance.

“Jeff has been a pod leader for the last year. He has deep knowledge of the software, especially with its capabilities to support multi-national businesses (including global consolidation), contracts, project accounting, and inventory,” said Falloon.

Business Solutions Business Unit Changes

The Business Solutions business unit is dedicated to the resale, implementation, and support of Microsoft Dynamics business software products and custom software development.

Jaime O’Malley, formerly a Project Manager, is promoted to Team Leader of the project managers on the Business Solutions consulting team. In addition to working directly with customers, in this new role, Jaime will support the project management team by helping to improve processes and define best practices. Before joining Cargas in 2018, Jaime spent 19 years at an international law firm in a variety of technical roles, including System Administrator, Project Manager, and Director of IT Client Service. She holds an associate’s degree in Information Systems from Harrisburg Area Community College.

“From the start, Jaime has brought a passion to her role that includes looking for opportunities to improve, streamline, and document processes,” said Jon Clemens, Vice President of the Business Solutions business unit.

Charlie Savko, formerly a Systems Consultant, is promoted to Team Leader for the consultants dedicated to Cargas’ ERP products (Dynamics GP and Dynamics 365 Business Central). In addition to working directly with customers, Charlie will support the consulting team with his expert technical knowledge and experience delivering complex projects. Charlie joined the Cargas team in 2015 after spending 9 years in finance and IT roles at a local distribution company. He holds a BS in Computer Science with a Math minor from Millersville University.

Charlie has helped to deliver some of our most challenging and complex solutions during his time with Cargas. He has led the way in learning about the latest addition to our product line, Dynamics 365 Business Central, while continuing to deliver new services to customers,” said Clemens.

Preston Cuer, formerly a Software Engineer, is promoted to Team Leader for the software engineers on the Business Solutions technical services team. In addition to working directly with customers, Preston will support the team with his experience with our development platform and his knowledge and experience developing custom solutions. Preston graduated from Niagara University with a double major in Computer Information Sciences and Theatre Performance with a Philosophy minor. Before joining Cargas in 2011, he had a range of experience related to his interests in IT and acting.

“During his time at Cargas, Preston has been instrumental in many large, successful projects for customers. Recently, he has taken on more leadership related to maintaining and transitioning our development platform and our approach for custom solutions,” said Clemens.
