Cargas Named One of 50 Fastest-Growing Companies in Central PA

Lancaster, Pennsylvania – September 9, 2021 – Cargas is proud to announce that it placed 31st on the Central Penn Business Journal’s annual list of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Central Pennsylvania.

Central Penn Business Journal honored Cargas and the other 49 winners at an online celebration on Thursday, September 9th. The official rankings were released at this event, and the September 17th issue of the Journal included rankings and company profiles. 

In order to be eligible for the Top 50 list, Cargas had to meet a minimum revenue requirement in each of the fiscal years ending 2018, 2019, and 2020, and show revenue growth in 2021 compared to that three-year period. Additionally, companies must be headquartered in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, or York counties. 

The presenting sponsor of the program, Baker Tilly, calculated the nominations and ranked the companies according to revenue growth during the three-year period. Both dollar and percentage increases were taken into consideration. This ranking formula led to the list of 50 winners.
