Cargas Named One of the Best Places to Work in PA for the 20th Time

Lancaster, Pennsylvania – December 9, 2025 – Central Penn Business Journal and  Lehigh Valley Business have named Cargas number 17 on their list of the Best Places to Work in PA.

Best Places to Work in PA identifies, recognizes, and honors the best places to work in Pennsylvania. To be eligible for consideration, organizations must be publicly or privately held, for-profit or not-for-profit, or a government entity. They must also have a facility in Pennsylvania, have a minimum of 15 full- or part-time employees working in the state, and must be in business for a minimum of one year.

Cargas met all award criteria and has placed 17th in the Medium Employer Category among 36 other businesses. This is the 20th time Cargas has been named a Best Place to Work in PA.

“Our core values of teamwork, customer care, and employee ownership have created a truly unique environment where our employees can thrive,” said Nate Scott, President & CEO of Cargas. “We are honored to be recognized as a Best Place to Work in PA for the 20th time and are committed to continue building a vibrant culture focused on shared success for years to come.”

The awards use a two-pronged approach to determine rankings within the list. The first portion, worth 25% of the total evaluation, looks at each nominated organization’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. The second portion, worth 75% of the total, surveys employees to measure their personal experiences at the company. The combined scores determine the top companies and final rankings.

The listing of winners is available on the Central Penn Business Journal website. The final rankings were announced at an awards ceremony on December 4th in partnership with Best Companies Group.
